在學習圍棋的過程，校方亦會安排學生從旁觀察。以「當局者迷，旁觀者清」的角度，讓學生能縱觀全局，進行多角度思考，了解雙方利益。這種安排能使其不為眼前個人利害所動，學習放下執著不再迷於眼前的一切。從分析棋形到學習綜觀全盤棋局，相信能慢慢地反思出棋局的真理。棋子除了顏色在黑白上的區別，就沒有任何地位高低之分。下棋時每個子的攻守進退及對整個局面的掌控，都彰顯出棋手的處世之道。

Throughout the go chess learning process, the school will arrange students to observe on the side. To understand o chess in the sense of “the spectators see the chess game better than the players”, students will learn to think in different perspective and consider benefits for both sides. This arrangement allows students to not be affected by the opponents’ moves and to learn not to focus on the things they see. From analyzing the chess game and observing the chess composition, students will learn to think about the chess game’s rules and theory. Apart from the black and white color of the chess, there is no categorization in the status. Every chess move is crucial for overall chess composition management and shows the player’s philosophy of life.
